Dear Fellow Mortgage Bankers,

It is hard to believe it has been a month since we were together in Virginia Beach for the VMBA Annual Convention. Quite a few things have happened since we were there, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is that PEOPLE ARE STILL BUYING HOMES and we are starting to see more refinances!

As VMBA president, I am emphasizing EDUCATION, LEGISLATION, and PARTICIPATION over the next 12 months. I will attend events around the state and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Stay tuned for some exciting EDUCATION events and programs in 2025; keep your fingers crossed about new LEGISLATION; and PLEASE encourage PARTICIPATION in your local organization. I had a couple of conversations with attendees who mentioned that people believe they need to be top producers to participate! Let’s debunk that myth and increase our membership!
